Join us for an insightful exploration of extraction and characterization techniques in circular biorefinery approaches. This webinar brings together leading researchers from Europe and China to discuss cutting-edge methods for analyzing biomolecules, peptides, dietary fibers, and polyesters recovered from agricultural waste streams.
Agriloop’s Executive Committee convenes in Ghent
2 September 2025—The Agriloop Executive Committee (ExCom) came together on September 2nd in Ghent, Belgium. A notable highlight of the event was the in-person participation of our Chinese research colleagues, building on the strong collaborative foundations established at the project’s 2nd Annual Meeting in Chengdu, China, earlier in the year.
Annual Meeting in Chengdu strengthens international partnership
12 April 2025—The Agriloop project has successfully concluded its Annual Meeting in Chengdu, China, bringing together 35 partners from across Europe and China for three days of strategic planning and technical collaboration. The meeting marked a significant step in the project’s development, transitioning from foundational research to practical implementation.
3rd-4th July 2025: Tools and methods for biorefinery design and evaluation (in-person training)
Join our practical training school organized by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and the Agricultural Cooperatives Federation of Catalonia (FCAC). The program includes expert talks and discussions on key challenges in agrifood waste and biomass valorization, offering a structured approach to decision-making in biorefinery design.
Exciting news from the CYBO Conference (Conference of Young Botanists) in Genoa! 🌿
From February 5th to 7th, our member Giorgia Benati from Università di Bologna (PhD) had the opportunity to present her research as part of the Agriloop Project. This conference brought together young researchers in the field of botany to showcase their work. Giorgia,...
