The University of Southern Denmark wishes to contribute to sustainable development through research and education programmes, works with sustainability-promoting projects and initiatives for students and employess. SDU believes that research and the universitites play a key role in the development of sustainable solutions to solve the world’s sustainability challenges seeks to implement sustainable solutions and to improve day-to-day operations at the University to respects the individual’s freedom of research and thus also the right to deal with sustainable development or not.
In the Agriloop project, the University is particularlly involved into the creation of a system to evaluate and predict the environmental impacts of circular solutions. SDU will gather data on how different circular pathways, which involve combining waste, processing it, and creating new products, affect the overall system.

Dr. Benyamin Khoshnevisan
University of Southern Denmark, Center for Life Cycle Engineering, Denmark
Dr Khoshnevisan was graduated from the University of Tehran, Department of biosystem engineering. He has more than 10 years of experience in sustainability assessment of renewable energy systems, biofuel production, waste management, wastewater treatment, and agricultural systems. He has applied interdisciplinary approaches such as sustainability assessment, data mining, modeling, optimization, and multi-criteria decision analysis to provide the right solutions for decision-makers.
