This webinar, organised by the Universidade of Santiago de Compostela (USC), presents practical tools and methods for the design and evaluation of biorefineries. Participants will explore a portfolio of agrifood by-product and residue valorisation pathways and will discuss how stakeholder preferences can help guide process selection, development and implementation. We will see how computer-based methods can assist process scale-up and development. Finally, participants will work in teams to examine a selected valorisation pathway and discuss its development.
